1, Barricane House, Mortehoe
Barricane House, formerly Barricane Inn, was built by my great, great grandfather Samuel Conibear in 1860.
This centrally located house is now a much loved and revisited holiday home. It is also used by us for more than 10 weeks a year and so it has many home comforts not usually found in a rental property.
.

Morte Bay, often wrongly called Woolacombe Bay, with its 3 miles of sands is only a 15 minute walk down the hill from Mortehoe. Possibly a little longer on the way back!!!
The secluded Barricane Beach, with its great little cafe and shell beach, is a little closer.
