Barricane House passed to Samuel Conibear’s daughter Mary, wife of Philip Gammon, and then to their son Arthur Samuel Conibear Gammon and to my father George Arthur Goodin Gammon.

Samuel Conibear, to ensure that his future son-in-law had bought a proper diamond engagement ring,  used it to write his signature on a pane of glass in the house.  This still exists to this day.
